Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies for the community.

SASSA is going to be rendering services for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency stated it is alarmed about the large variety of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The intention with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the high number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This really is a result of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no completely functional office focused on service the area each day. The services point created for intervention ordeals a significant influx of potential beneficiaries, that makes it hard for your Workplace to attend to all people who take a look at a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise far more sources to help the servicing of all shoppers and enhance access to Social SRD Assistance products and services,” the agency said.
